What We Need


As the Product Manager, Feature Development for Membership.io, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, development, and delivery of key features that enhance the platform. You will work closely with development, design, and cross-functional teams to define and implement feature roadmaps. By gathering customer feedback, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with internal teams, you’ll ensure that new features align with business goals and user needs. Your role will include defining feature priorities, managing the feature lifecycle from concept to launch, and continuously iterating to improve the platform’s capabilities.
In this role, you will focus specifically on the development and enhancement of Membership.io features, ensuring that they support the overall product vision while delivering value to the users. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of feature-based development, user needs, and agile project management practices.


What You’ll Do

  • Feature Roadmap Creation: Develop and manage the feature roadmap, identifying priorities based on customer needs, market trends, and business objectives. Break down large features into manageable tasks and deliverables.
  • Feature Prioritization: Evaluate feature requests, balancing user demands with technical feasibility and business value to prioritize the most impactful work.
  • User-Centric Feature Design: Collaborate with the UX/UI team to design features that provide an excellent user experience and address customer pain points. Incorporate feedback from user research to ensure new features are intuitive and easy to use.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with development, marketing, customer success, and other teams to ensure smooth feature delivery and alignment with broader product goals. Communicate feature requirements and project updates clearly across all teams.
  • Agile Feature Management: Lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives related to feature development. Ensure that features are delivered on time and that roadblocks are removed.
  • Feature Testing and QA: Partner with the QA team to define feature test cases, ensure thorough testing is completed, and address issues quickly. Prioritize bug fixes based on feature impact and urgency.
  • Customer Feedback Integration: Continuously collect feedback from customers and stakeholders to iterate on existing features and plan for future enhancements.
  • Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors’ features, and emerging technologies to keep Membership.io’s features competitive and relevant.

  • Feature Roadmap Delivery: Create and maintain a clear and achievable roadmap for feature development, ensuring timely feature launches.
  • Feature Success Metrics: Define and track key metrics for each feature, such as user adoption, engagement, and retention, to assess performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • User-Centric Feature Design: Ensure all features are designed with a focus on user needs, simplicity, and intuitive design.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Foster collaboration between the development, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure feature releases are well-coordinated.
  • On-Time Feature Delivery: Consistently deliver features within the projected timeline while maintaining high quality.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Gather and incorporate customer feedback into feature planning and development, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction with the platform's features.

Qualifications

  • Years of Experience: 1-3 years of experience in product management, preferably within a SaaS or tech environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Product Management, or a related field.
  • Certifications (Nice to have):
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile certifications.
  • Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ) or similar certifications in analytics tools.
