Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 + Commission

What We Need


We are seeking a dynamic Account Executive to join our expanding team. In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of our growth, expanding our user base, fostering strong customer relationships, and driving the adoption of our innovative platform. If you are passionate about content, technology, and delivering exceptional customer experiences, we want you on our team.

What You’ll Do


Develop and Execute Sales Strategies:
  • Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities in targeted markets.
  • Implement strategies to effectively reach potential clients and close sales.

Manage the Sales Cycle:
  • Lead discovery conversations with prospects to identify their needs and align solutions.
  • Oversee the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals, including conducting presentations, leading negotiations, and managing contract signings.

Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build strong relationships with prospective customers that can be successfully transitioned and maintained by the Customer Success Team.
  • Develop and maintain long-lasting relationships by understanding customer content management needs and demonstrating how Membership.io adds value.

Collaborate with Internal Teams:
  • Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Support teams to ensure seamless onboarding.
  • Provide market insights and feedback to shape product development and marketing strategies.

Achieve Sales Targets:
  • Consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Drive new business growth and maximize revenue potential, with an uncapped commission structure and quarterly incentives.

Performance Metrics and Outcomes


Achieve Sales Targets:
  • Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Generate a specified amount of revenue from new business opportunities.

Lead Generation and Conversion:
  • Identify and qualify a high volume of leads within targeted markets.
  • Maintain a strong conversion rate from lead to customer.

Sales Cycle Efficiency:
  • Shorten the average sales cycle duration while maintaining high-quality interactions.
  • Successfully manage the entire sales process from prospecting to contract signing.

Use of CRM and Sales Tools:
  • Efficiently utilize HubSpot and other sales tools to manage and track sales activities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer interactions within the CRM.
  • Airtable experience is a plus for managing additional workflows and data organization.

  • Market and Product Knowledge: Stay informed on industry trends and demonstrate expertise in Membership.io’s products during customer interactions.
  • Presentation and Negotiation: Deliver persuasive presentations and negotiate favorable terms for both the customer and the company.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build long-lasting customer relationships and establish a feedback loop with the Customer Success team to improve new business targeting and transitions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Seek feedback and adopt new sales techniques to enhance both personal and team performance.

Qualifications


  • 2-5 years of proven experience in sales, business development, preferably within tech, SaaS, or content management sectors.
  • Proven success as a full-cycle Account Executive, managing the sales process from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Entrepreneurial experience or working closely with entrepreneurs, with an understanding of the unique challenges they face.
  • Strong knowledge of content management systems, digital marketing, and customer engagement platforms.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to clearly articulate complex solutions.
  • Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a solution-selling environment.
  • Highly motivated and proactive, thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills focused on customer needs and business growth.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.

To maintain SOC2 compliance, Employment is contingent on passing a background check. We conduct background checks through Certn (Softcheck). 

  • Softcheck searches thousands of international data sources to identify potentially illegal behaviour, criminal activity, fraud incidents, regulatory violations, and negative media information. This service also includes searches of country sanction lists, exposed persons lists, sex offender registries, terrorist registries, and most wanted lists from around the globe.
